Caramelized onion sauce – a unique chips or horseradish addition

Necessary products:

350 ml. sour cream
2 tablespoons vinegars balsamic
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/2 teaspoon sea ​​salt
2 tablespoons Brown sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
600 g onion
120 ml. mayonnaise

Method of preparation:

Cut the onion. In a saucepan heat the olive oil at medium temperature. Add the onion and cook with stirring for about 15 minutes. Add brown sugar, salt, balsamic vinegar and pepper and mix well. Reduce the temperature and fry onions for about 30 minutes with frequent stirring. Leave the onion to cool for about 10-15 minutes. Mix sour cream, mayonnaise and a little sauce Worcester in a bowl. Add the onion and mix well. If necessary, add salt. Caramelized onion sauce is most delicious if you let it cool for several hours. Serve with potato chips or horseradish.
