Muffins with pumpkin and caramel

Our favorite muffins can be prepared with everything, but given the season, we suggest you experiment with a pumpkin. Adding a scent of caramel – a perfect dessert before and for the holidays!


For muffins:

150 g of flour
50 grams of crushed nuts
1 teaspoon of coffee
1 tsp. Nutmeg
2 tsp. Baking soda
100 grams of sugar
1 tsp. Cocoa (optional)
2 eggs
200 g of pumpkin puree
150 ml of milk
1 tsp. Vanillas extract
50 ml. Oil

For caramel:

100g sugar
30 years of oil
150 ml of sweet sour cream or cream


Prepare first caramel. In a small bowl, warm the sugar to a soft brown, then add the butter, and finally add one third of the sweet cream. Be careful! Mix in low heat for 2-3 minutes and then slowly add the rest of the sweet cream. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove from the heat and let the bowl cool.
While the caramel cools down, start preparing the muffins. Put the flour in a bowl and then add the ground walnuts, cinnamon, nut, soda, salt and sugar. Then in another bowl, whisk the eggs and add the pumpkin, milk, oil and vanilla. Then mix the ingredients from the two containers together until a good mixture is obtained.

In the muffin form, put baking paper in each socket. Fill them with about 2/3 of the mixture. If you want to have lighter and darker muffins, add half of the cocoa mixture and mix well, then spread the resulting in the baskets. Put them baked in an oven heated to 170 ° C for about 17-20 minutes. After you remove them and let them cool, pour the caramel over them. Enjoy!
