This recipe for “fake omelet” does not contain eggs at all. Basically, it’s a kind of pancake, but after frying it looks like a perfect omelet. Ideal choice for breakfast for those who are on a vegan or vegetarian diet.
¼ cup of chickpeas flour
1 tablespoon of flour usually
1/3 cup of water
¼ teaspoon soda baking powder
¼ teaspoon of salt
2 tablespoons of an onion finely chopped
2 tablespoons of coriander finely chopped
1 green chilli/or hot pepper/, finely chopped
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon ground pepper
Method of preparation:
You crumble the two types of flour well with water. Add the baking powder, salt and crush it well.
Come onion, coriander green chili/pepper/and mix well.
On a hot pan add the olive oil. As soon as it reaches the desired temperature, pour and spread the mixture. The season with black pepper and bake on both sides until the familiar golden tan is obtained.
The resulting false omelette is gentle and fluffy. Serve it with your favorite tomato sauce, and you are ready with a breakfast that does not interfere with any diet!
