Kurnik (Chicken pirog)


Among recipes on the Easter dinner table, it takes a special place. Traditional for Russia and Ukraine, it is the most popular. Implementation of this recipe is not complicated and does not require many products. And it can be a nice addition to the Easter menu.

6 chicken legs deboned.
Butter – 1 pack 125 g
2 tablespoons of sour cream.
Flour – 4 cups
Rice – 0.5 cups
Onion – 3 pcs.
1. Make the meat, bake it with salt, onion and leave it in the refrigerator for 1 hour to stay with spices.
2. Mix the flour with half butter, cream, salt and sugar.
3. Leave it for about 30 minutes to do so after dividing it into four parts 2 – bigger and two smaller.
4. In a 20 cm wide mattress tray, place the torn crust of about 0.5 cm thick. Put on it fat and add the rice/raw and wash/and put onions on it. Open the precious stone and cover with the second bark.
5. Remove the balls as a guest and dispose of the roads in two.
Use the other ball to decorate the top. Pick up the fork in different places on the hearth to get the steam out of it.
7. Bake in an oven heated oven for 1 hour. The baking temperature is 200-220. 8. After baking, stew for about 30 minutes and chasing a warm massage.

You can also add mushrooms to the stuffing, but before choking or marinating them to make them easier.
